Happy. I finally found a Notepad app that's brilliant in its simplicity to Open and Edit existing TXT files, Save them as TXT files, create New and Save As... Can search inside document using Find - although a bug in Match Case. App creates a Recent Files list. An additional nice feature is Font Size (Zoom) and Font Style...although only to set as a default for all your text files but can be changed as needed. In other words, you can't use different font styles or sizes within the same document.
No aggressive ads, no unnecessary paywalls. Can actually save to your drives. Simple and works. Unlike other workarounds, it actually saves as .txt files. Would give 5* if there were a few more creature comforts. But, it is already great at what it does and is a great app. Highly recommend.
After searching for an ordinary text file create application, after many years on Android, I finally discovered this application. No more wondering about the location of the file in the file directory. No more wondering why other text editor developers leave out the basics of file management. good job
