I've been a user since 2019. this app has been developed a lot, but the last update is the best one in my opinion. the options to control the zoom, page color, exporting, etc. I recommend that you add the option to have pictures as background (like Google's Keep Notes!), some general ones and the option to have custom images as background as well. it would be great if the export option gets further developed, supporting different formats and even the option to export a whole notebook or section.
WHEN it works, it's a blast. Sadly it only works correctly about 1 of 100 times. I used it on a surface pro 6 for school and also on my phone for good measure and after years of experience I can say that Microsoft literally just dropped the ball on onenote. Notebooks not opening for no apparent reason, notes DISAPPEARING for no apparent reason (unacceptable in a NOTES APP!), synchronization absolutely not working correctly and I also encounteres whole NOTEBOOKS!! disappearing. I'm done with it.
This app is complete garbage! And instead of fixing it, they keep making it worse. There are so many bugs I stopped counting. And the Home page is just terrible. It shows dozens of pages from notebooks that aren't even open on my phone. This makes it impossible to find what I'm looking for. And even though the pages on the Home page are supposed to be sorted by last edited, when I edit a page it doesn't actually move to the top. Just how utterly incapable are the people who made this app?!
