Oracle Mobile Authenticator Description

Oracle Mobile Authenticator enables you to securely verify your identity by using your mobile device as an authentication factor. The app generates one-time passcode for login. Or it can receive notifications for login, which can be approved with a simple tap. When this authentication is used on top of username-password, it adds an additional layer of security that is essential for today's online applications.

Features:
- Generate one time passcode even when the device is offline
- Push Notification based approval
- Fingerprint or App PIN for app protection
- Set up via QR code, Config URL, or by entering key manually
- Multiple account support
- Generate OTP for other applications that make use of passcodes as per RFC 6238

By installing this app you agree to the End User License Agreement terms at http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/cloud/documents/eula.html.

Comments about Oracle Mobile Authenticator Android Version

I hope Oracle goes out of business. I had to log into my instance in between a meeting, tried to sign in and it asked me to change my password, I couldn't use any of my 5 previously used passwords, I couldn't copy paste a randomly generated string, I had to manually type it into the text boxes. once I was finally done setting up a new password, it asked me to set up a 2FA authenticator. You wasted my 50 minutes that day Oracle. I've recommended my workplace to pay Google instead.
UI needs a major update to reflect a modern UX, needs an option for backup to a cloud service, needs dark mode for accessibility and visually impaired and my Trend Micro security app keeps telling me this app is dangerous.
I feel secure with this app on my phone course. We need to always be aware of what we are tapping into or signing up for, but this app does make me know that I do have extra layer protection.
