If you want a calculator that can do everything from a little addition to solving differential equations with a great input interface or even by scanning your handwriting - this is one of the best. There are similar ones like the one from Microsofts, but where Photomath is special is that you can also do (almost) all of this while being offline. Edit: At least until version 6.2.0. In version 7+ you cant even calculate 2+2 without a connection. Fortunately I was able to find an old apk online.
Definitely the best math -app available. It includes all the necessary functions and explains how to do the assignment yourself in a understandable way. The photo funktion is surprisingly good and works most of the time. It doesn't require you to carefully write everything in a perfect manner, however you won't get a successful reading, if your writing is hard to read for a normal person. I recommend it to anyone who has a hard time understanding mathematics, and to anyone else.
The app is okay to use for simple exercises and/or showing you graphs. However it takes a very long time to load and doesn't always show you how to solve an equation which is annoying if you just need a way to solve complex equations and have yourself no idea. It is very nice on the other that you can just photograph the equation you need to look at which is very relaxing when you have long equations even though it makes some mistakes once in a while which you can correct after taking the pic.
