Comments about Recreation.gov Android Version
App/Web and contact center contradicted each other regarding upgrade of a daily pass into an annual pass. Skip using recreation.gov altogether and just get passes at a park, the rediculous additional fees are waived and they won't lie about the policies like was done to me. On the app itself, found it really difficult to navigate and so many unnecessary security steps to make a simple $20 reservation.
This is a genuinely useful app. Also easy to use. The website can be better for looking at large amounts of info, but I didn't take a star off for that. I view it as an inherent flaw that comes from a small screen. Just remember to take screen caps if you'll be out of your mobile service area.
I would give this 3.5. It sometimes shows misleading information (availability when there is none), and the map isn't entirely user friendly., plus it times out and stops working. Otherwise, does the job, good resource.
