Comments about Reverso Translate and Learn Android Version
I use this app for vocabulary learning, it has several learning modes and allows to practice on the words from translation history. Some other dictionary apps also have "cards" of sorts, but Reverso does it the best of all. Sadly "the best of all" doesn't mean perfect. The quiz function still feels a bit undercooked. The review length limit won't let me list all the issues I have found, but I will gladly share them by email if there is one for this purpose.
I was perfectly happy with the free version and for finding the context of words it's great, but after upgrading and trying the personalized learning system, I'm quite disappointed. It's hard to use, hard to customize, hard to choose words to add and doesn't leverage the most important aspect of the app: finding the appropriate translation for a specific word. What's worse, some languages (Chinese) only function in one direction. Isn't the app called Reverso?
Used it for some time innow, but seems just right for me. Grammar of the examples isn't always correct but that was expected. Now, after some months using the app to help improve my italian and Spanish, I still find it very useful and practical. I like that when highlighting a bit of text, the app appears as a pop-up option so i can quickly check the translation, conjugaison etc.
