I have experience using high end scanners so I know I wasn't getting anything amazing for $700. This doesn't do anything good outside of the stupid little rotating plate. I wasted my entire day trying 1000 different ways to scan a part in secrions. I'm returning this and getting something else for a few hundred more. The time lost is the real kicker.
Could not use the app on my samsung s22 ultra. As soon as i connect the scanner the app askes for permission to access adevice then it crashes. Update mar-30-23: thanks for the response. Ufter updating to 5.0.2 the software cant detect the device for aome reason. Few seconds after connecting it in some occasiona i get promoted with the following "Allow Revo Scan to access ZXProduct?" Once i approve the app crashes
Not impressed. The app does function, but there are several places where icons have no explanation or words under them, and its not clear what clicking them does. Using the Mini scanner. I have actually watched all the user guides, but the major flaw seems to be that the scanner loses its lock point and then starts rescanning, basically duplicating point clouds on top of each other, creating merged bodies with a single scan that I cannot undo. It basically makes it impossible to scan anything.
