Clock on the widget does not update automatically?
This may be related to battery saving (some systems or battery saving apps turns off background tasks of 3rd party widgets). Please try to check settings (for example in Xiaomi phones it is called "Security>Autostart", in Samsung "Maintence>Battery")

Comments about Simple weather & clock widget Android Version
After many years of being my favorite weather widget app, I cannot take the repetitive begging for data sharing and asking if I want to change ad settings or subscribe or not. I don't mind the ads but if I say I don't want to share data, then leave it alone. And if I want to change ad settings, I'll change it - I don't need to be asked every few times I open the app. If you only use the widget or are okay with those nagging prompts, then this app is recommended.
Great app, much better than the preinstalled weather app, but I wish there was more customization for notifications. I am set to get a notification if the UV goes over 8, but the next highest step is 12. I wish there was a 10 option, and also if the frequency of notifications could lower. I got one while typing this! But again, great app.
This app used to work really well. Unfortunately after the most recent update the app will crash a few seconds after opening, the time and weather also need to be refreshed to be upto date - not sure if this is a bug or intended feature. The device being used is an S22 Ultra
