Both books contain God's guidance as revealed to prophets, as well as religious histories of different civilizations. While the Bible is written by and about the people in the land of Israel and surrounding areas and takes place from the creation of the world until shortly after the death of Jesus Christ, the Book of Mormon contains the history of God's dealings with the people who lived in the Americas between approximately 600 BC and 400 AD. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ.

Comments about The Book of Mormon Android Version

Recent updates have made it far less intuitive, (within the last year; 2021 - 2022) and the narrators are painfully boring to listen to, compared to the two previous readers, prior to that particular update (3 years ago, I think?) If you just want to simply open the app to read the Book of Mormon, forget about it. Also, you can't copy and paste any of your favorite passages. It's copy protected/restricted, but the Book of Mormon in the combined Gospel Library App is not. Weird. Cannot recommend.

Compared to regular Bible apps like You Version, this app is pretty disappointing. No way to save progress, no way to highlight or take notes. The only thing that seemed better at first were the videos connected to verses, but they are sooo slow paced as to be nearly unwatchable. I can see where this was geared to make it easy to access, and to be an introduction to the concepts, but it is not a great app.

The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the one TRUE Church on earth. The Book Of Mormon and other LDS material is INSPIRED FROM HEAVEN. I'M not an LDS church member (yet), but I've read the Book Of Mormon, some of the Doctrines And Covenants and the Pearl Of Great Price. The LDS church is the church I WILL unite with and be baptized by. The LDS Church is the only Church that has authority from our Heavenly Father & His son Jesus Christ - our Lord & Saviour. Thankyou LDS members❤️❤️
