Comments about TP-Link Tether Android Version
After the update the app is failing to obtain a client list and prompts to reboot the network. This does not resolve the problem and causes the app to lose connection with the network sol have to restart the app. I have tried removing and reinstalling the app and this did not resolve the issue. Clients can connect to the network but I cannot view them or manage them. Parental controls are now useless. Family members! usage is shown but I cannot view or manage their connected devices
Super smooth app! UI is easy to understand. You got any router, it just connects in seconds. You can block any intruder device from your phone. You can troubleshoot the router from your phone, how crazy is that!! Once you login, there's no need to put any details to help you setup the wifi. You can check the signal strength too. You have network diagnostics too on the app. It doesn't crash or lag. Just smooth!
App is solid but I get the feeling it's an after thought. For example you don't get 1 to 1 features or options vs using the browser and the one thing that annoys me the most is it only list half of the device names leaving one half as unknown or just a mac address. It can't even identify popular well known devices like a firestick, which makes it a lot harder to use QOS features or even parental controls if you can't find the devices.
