I've had a great experience with the app. I do regularly all the administrative work related stuff there and never had a problem. As an area of improvement, when I want to count the number of days of vacations in x period of time for example, I select to export it to excel it doesn't do select only that period and only vacations it gives everything and it's annoying to do the filtering in Excel if I did it already in workday.
Cutting straight to the jist: This "app" runs like a website rather than what SHOULD be a quicker, smoother, and therefore optimized replacement for the site -you know- like an APP. Sadly, it's worse than a website, because at least when navigating websites, it's within a browser that allows you to open pages in separate windows/tabs. With this, you open one page at a time...whenever it loads...and requires you to verify all info each login despite opting to try and make sign-in more efficient.
Using the app for 14 months, and a week ago the app started opening up in browser web version. Which shows me at the top of the page I have the app and prompts me to hit the button to show in the app. And everytime I hit the button the screen goes dark as if it is switching to the app, and acts like it is loading but doesn't. Now I can't get back to the original page. I have to close and reopen app which only opens the browser again. While it is practically impossible to use.
