"Hide and Seek" is a classic children's game that can be played both indoors and outdoors. There are several variations of "Hide and Seek," including "Freeze Tag," in which the player who is "it" must freeze any player they find by tagging them, and "Ghost in the Graveyard," in which the player who is "it" is called the "ghost" and tries to tag the other players, who are called "graveyard keepers," while they are hiding. In some versions of the game, players can also be eliminated once they have been found, and the game continues until all players have been found or the player who is "it" gives up searching.

The player who is "it" is usually chosen by some sort of agreement or through the use of a random selection method, such as counting off or drawing straws.
