Google Authenticator Description

Google Authenticator adds an extra layer of security to your online accounts by adding a second step of verification when you sign in. This means that in addition to your password, you'll also need to enter a code that is generated by the Google Authenticator app on your phone. The verification code can be generated by the Google Authenticator app on your phone, even if you don't have a network or cellular connection.
* Sync your Authenticator codes to your Google Account and across your devices. This way, you can always access them even if you lose your phone.
* Set up your Authenticator accounts automatically with a QR code. This is quick and easy, and it helps to ensure that your codes are set up correctly.
* Support for multiple accounts. You can use the Authenticator app to manage multiple accounts, so you don't have to switch between apps every time you need to sign in.
* Support for time-based and counter-based code generation. You can choose the type of code generation that best suits your needs.
* Transfer accounts between devices with a QR code. This is a convenient way to move your accounts to a new device.
* To use Google Authenticator with Google, you need to enable 2-Step Verification on your Google Account. To get started visit http://www.google.com/2step Permission notice: Camera: Needed to add accounts using QR codes

Comments about Google Authenticator Android Version

Very basic functionality but does its job, copies the code of an entry with long press (plus confusing move+rename at the same time). The prefix part of some entries cannot be renamed which is a pity. Besides changing an entry's order there is absolutely no way of grouping, structuring, organizing, searching the entries. It's really stunning that such basic UI functionality is not implemented by Google in v1 of this. Maybe it was an intern's first job at Google?
Does what it's supposed to, but the UI got much worse recently. I have nothing against a clean, minimalist look - but it would be nice to have a little structure and a few visual cues help tell things apart in the list. I have quite a few entries, and while it was never easy to spot the right one quickly, now it's harder than ever. It's also plain more unpleasant to look at - not clean or balanced, but, for all the lack of color, cluttered and lifeless
I really like the app, it does excatly what it should do. But this would be easier if the program would backup the information somewhere (maybe even inside my google account) to make sure I do not have to restart the process once I am switching phone, which happens nearly every two years, sometimes even faster.. Or I am just to blind to find the setting for backup and restore.

What is an XAPK file, and what should I do if the Google Authenticator I downloaded is an XAPK file?

Open up

A file with .xapk extension is a compressed package file. It is a container file format that incorporates APK and additional associated files required for the installation. The XAPK format was introduced to package the APK file and OBB file together for a seamless delivery and installation process. XAPK format can help reduce the package size of application. On mobile phones, users need to install the XAPK installer first, and then install XAPK files through that installer. You can find the installer here:https://apkcombo.com/how-to-install/. But on PC client, you just need to put the file on LDPlayer.
