Surah Jumu'ah is the sixty-second surah of the Qur'an, consisting of 11 verses. This chapter is called “Friday” because it is the day of gathering, when the community abandons commerce, transactions, and other remittances in favor of coming together in search of the universal and most beneficial truth and seeking the “favor of God” exclusively (verse 9). This surah is from Surah Al-Musabehat because it begins with the glory of God.
During Friday prayers, Muhammad recites Surat Al-Jum'ah and Surat Al-Munafiqun (63).
Al-Dahhak b. Qais Al-Numan b. asked. Al-Bashir: What did the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, read on Friday after reciting Surat Al-Jumu’ah? He replied: He was reading: Have you received a story about a major event? (Al-Ghashiya (88)).
Ibn Abi Rafi’ said: We joined Abu Hurairah in the Friday prayer, and he recited Surat Al-Jumu’ah, and “When the hypocrites came to you” (Al-Munafiqun 63) in the last rak’ah. He said: I met Abu Hurairah when he finished praying, and I said to him: I read the two surahs that Ali bin Abi Talib used to recite in Kufa. Abu Hurairah said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, reciting them on Friday.

Surah Friday
This is a Medinan surah and has 11 verses. Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: His sins will also be forgiven.

It was said in another narration: If a person recites this Surah daily, he will be safe from everything dangerous and frightening.
