When it works it's great. Unfortunately it frequently disconnects, even if you activate "Always On". Anywhere between zero and thirty times a day. Not sure what Always On means if it doesn't reconnect and i have to manually reopen the app. It's been months and i still have to manually reconnect despite it saying always on. MacBook no longer connects. Also makes backing to drive nearly impossibly slow, which is so stupid Between this and same bull with drive there's no point in paying anymore.
I had NordVPN, and it was good until recently. I've been using ProtonVPN for about a month, and it's far more robust. There is a bit of a learning curve, and for those who are not technologically able, the learning curve will be steep with regard to the advanced integrations. Being in Canada, there is a noticeable lag, but it lasts a moment, and apart from that, I don't notice anything further. I am fully convinced, that Proton is unmatched!!
Android TV version experiencing constant disconnection issues. You get no warning resulting in dns/ip leaks. There's no configurable settings in the app, and you cannot activate any type of kill switch. Definitely not secure as a result. Reply: ***There's no way to change anything on the app, the settings have been removed from the end user***
